In recent months, the health system in North Macedonia has experienced tragic events that have deeply shocked public opinion. The unexplained loss of life of babies in the Pediatric Clinic is a clear alarm about the dire state in which health is.

This is stated in a DUI reaction, where it is emphasized that, moreover, it is disturbing to notice a deliberate tendency to marginalize and replace the Albanian medical staff with Macedonian personnel, such as the recent case in the Health Center in Kumanovo.

"These actions not only undermine the internal cohesion of health institutions, but also damage the quality of services offered to our citizens. Meanwhile, the Minister of Health seems to be more engaged in tourist trips to Dubai and party activities, neglecting his obligations to the citizens. This lack of commitment and responsibility is unacceptable, especially when the health and lives of our children are at stake. In addition, it is clear that the illegitimate minister of health, who acts as a puppet of VMRO and is steeped in corruption, is also showing a high level of incompetence in the management of the health sector. This combination of servility, corruption and incompetence is leading to a deep crisis, where our citizens are paying the highest price. Citizens demand that the Minister of Health resign immediately and take responsibility for these serious failures. Also, we call for an independent and transparent investigation into the recent deaths at the Pediatric Clinic and for the immediate prohibition of discrimination against the Albanian medical staff", the reaction says.

According to DUI, it is time to put the interests of citizens and the health of our children above personal ambitions and political agendas.
