The 14 fallen British soldiers during the last war in Kosovo are commemorated
To work for peace in the Western Balkans and the whole world. This was the message on the occasion of the commemoration of 14 fallen British soldiers in Kosovo.
The commemorative ceremony brought together British diplomats and others operating in our country, KFOR and KSF soldiers, representatives of our institutions, as well as politicians.
The British ambassador in Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, said that this ceremony should be an inspiration to work for peace.
"Today's ceremony has different meanings for each of us. I hope we continue this ceremony to inspire everyone and I hope this morning will inspire us to continue working for peace in this region and throughout the world." he said.
In this ceremony there were also prayers by the British priest, as well as short speeches and poems by the British soldiers for the fallen.
The Minister of Defense, Ejup, also paid tribute to the soldiers Maqedonci, the commander of the KSF, Bashkim Jashari, the president of the AAK, Ramush Haradinaj and commanders operating within KFOR.
