Economic growth figures in Europe are constantly accelerating in the euro area. In addition to Europe, inflation is decreasing in Kosovo as well. This was said in the meeting organized by the Central Bank of Kosovo with the theme "IMF's Regional Economic Perspective for Europe, A recovery under the full potential of Europe - Special focus: How big are the effects of the convergence of Europe and who are the main drivers.
In the opening speech of this event, the governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK), Ahmet Ismaili, said that this banking institution has begun to ease policies, taking into account the uncertainties with interest rates. He emphasized that the CBK is ready to adapt the rates to the economic inflation.
The deputy head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Sebastian Weber, emphasized that apart from Europe, inflation is decreasing in Kosovo as well.
Weber emphasized that the recovery of the European economy is heading in the right direction.He said that despite the challenges, the banking sector has been supporting economic activity.
Further, the field emphasized that the loan is increasing compared to last year.
