Last night, the Customs-Police Joint Task Force, in the implementation of measures to prevent and fight illegality and smuggling, identified a case of corruption where the suspects were a customs official and a police official.

According to the police inspectorate, immediately after the suspicion that the coordination officials were receiving illegal payments, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) and the relevant Customs units were notified, which in coordination carried out the arrest of a customs official and a police officer for involvement in illegal activities. illegal.

"Both officials were detained under the suspicion that they had cooperated in receiving money from truck drivers to facilitate crossings through the Hani i Elezit Border Point.
