Due to financial problems, the "Drita" basketball club has ceased its activity after 66 years of existence. The bad news was given by the captain of this team, Qendrim Demi, through a post on the "Facebook" social network.

"The journey of the men's basketball club "Drita" ends. A club with a rich history and a legacy built with hard work and dedication from generations, today is closing its important chapter in the field of sports. Drita was not just a club, it was a symbol of the passion and unity of our community. It was the place where hundreds of young people were formed, where children and young people found hope and pride through sport. However, due to financial difficulties and lack of proper support, this journey has come to an end. Although the "Light" is extinguished today, the hope remains that one day it will be reborn to give our community that special feeling that only a club like this could offer", Demi wrote.
