The Presidency: Country Report singles out Osmani's efforts on the Women's Peace and Security agenda
The Presidency of Kosovo announces that the Country 2024 report singles out the unstoppable efforts of President Vjosa Osmani in the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda.
According to a press release issued by the presidency, the president's high political attention to gender equality, the rights of women and victims of sexual violence, and the organization of the International Forum for Women, Peace and Security, which gathered over 1 thousand participants from over 40 countries around the world.
"The US Department of State has chosen Kosovo, namely the Presidency of the Republic of Kosovo, as the only country in Europe, and among the only three countries in the world, for the establishment of the Regional Center of Excellence for Women, Peace and Security," the announcement states.
