The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), at the same time a candidate for Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj met tonight with the structures of the Alliance Branch in Viti, whereupon he presented Labinot Gjinin and Engjëll Koliq as candidates for deputies in the parliamentary elections on February 9, 2025 .

During his speech, Haradinaj emphasized that the greatest achievement and victory of this party in politics will be the commitment for Kosovo's membership in NATO through the action plan.

"For these upcoming elections, I thought what would be the best, biggest contribution that if I continue to be in politics I can make to my country and people. I think that membership in NATO directly, not through the process in the Partnership for Peace, because it is protracted, but direct membership in NATO through the action plan for membership would be achieved and the biggest victory, the victory of all our victories. I believe that this would be my final service. We will work on this", stressed Haradinaj.

Haradinaj praised the two candidates for deputies from the ranks of the AAK in Viti, saying that for the first time in Kosovo this internal nomination is being made.

"It is the first time today in Kosovo that this has happened, it has not happened yet, it is an internal nomination. It is a candidacy, I have the right based on the Alliance's statute and our regulations to make this nomination, to share the nomination of your two candidates for deputy, this process has not yet started anywhere else - in this case Labinot Gjinit and Engjëll Koliqi ", said Haradinaj.

The head of the AAK branch in Viti, now a candidate for deputy, Labinot Gjini expressed his optimism for victory in the February 9 elections.

"Even today, two years and three years ago, we entered the competition. We are out to win. They told me you can't, it's hard. But, we have acted, we have continued, we have believed, we have built teams and thanks to each of you we have slowly re-raised the Alliance to the level of a serious candidacy both at the municipal level and today at the local level... With the citizens of Vitia I am a candidate, I am politician, only with you these things can be achieved... Let's continue to believe and not give up until victory. No one will stop us. It has been difficult until now, but believe me today that I have all the confidence for victory not only in myself, but also in the Alliance", stressed Gjini.

The writer, publicist, lecturer and author of several publications, also a candidate for deputy, Engjëll Koliqi said that he joined AAK, as he believes that the country can only progress with Ramush Haradinaj as the next prime minister.

"We, as the current prime minister, do not claim to take the majority and form a government ourselves. We claim with others in the coalition, but that Ramush Haradinaj should be prime minister in the coalition. He is the only one who always knows what, where and how to speak, react and act... So far I have been in LDK. With much regret, I realized that it occurred to me that the legacy of the historical president Rugova is not being carried out properly in the country, I thought that with our general Haradinaj we will carry it out better. I will be the voice of the citizen, the voice of the people in the assembly for all needs and demands", said Koliqi.

Before the meeting with the leading structures of the AAK Branch in Viti, Haradinaj also held a meeting with the chairman of the KLA War Veterans Organization and the structures of the organization. He promised that among the first priorities in governance will be the resolution of the legal and financial statute for this category.

"We hope very much as Kosovo, we will wash away our shame, I'm speaking as a country, but also mine in this case, to resolve once and for all their legal, financial status and the rights they deserve. Let's not trample them endlessly, continuously, but let's solve it...", said Haradinaj.
