Farmers have harvested most of the agricultural products for this year, but some of them have not yet received the subsidies for direct support from the Ministry of Agriculture. Some farmers complain that the delay in subsidies is making it difficult for them to work in agriculture.

They say that the support from the state is delayed for this year. The same ones ask the Ministry of Agriculture to start the procedures for the execution of payments as soon as possible, while there are those who say that they have not yet been visited by the commission to verify the planted areas.

On the other hand, the Association of Milk Producers of Kosovo has said that a certain number of farmers are waiting to receive subsidies. Meanwhile, for this, the Minister of Agriculture, Faton Peci promises that the tools will be executed by the end of the fiscal year.

While they estimate that subsidies should be increased in some agricultural crops, the farmers ask the Ministry of Agriculture to make an analysis about this increase.

Farmer Sali Abazi, who has been dealing with livestock and agriculture for about 22 years, complains about the delay in subsidies. He says that this year there are cases that have not yet come out of the commission to verify last year's plantings. 

Even the farmer Sadete Gecaj, who deals with beekeeping, says that they are waiting for subsidies for organic beekeeping, since, as she says, they have been executed for corruption.

She says that the Ministry of Agriculture should see the possibility of increasing the subsidies for organic beekeeping, as she points out that they are low.

For this, the Minister of Agriculture, Faton Peci, promises that the subsidies will be released by the end of the fiscal year. He adds that the entire budget, as some farmers wish to receive the subsidies within the first six months, objectively cannot be realized.

Minister Faton Peci adds that every indicator is positive in the agriculture sector, despite the challenges it has potentiated, one of them, as he says, "the bad governance of Avdullah Hoti".

On the other hand, from the Association of Milk Producers of Kosovo, they say that a certain number of farmers are waiting for subsidies.
