The Merry Gentlemen is a new Christmas movie coming to the Netflix platform on November 20. The star of this film is Chad Michael Murray, known for his role as Lucas in One Tree Hill. The film was directed by Peter Sullivan, while the screenplay was written by Marla Sokoloff.

"We got to change things up a bit and push the boundaries," Murray said of the film.

The plot follows dancer Ashley (Britt Robertson) who travels home for the holidays and discovers that the small town she comes from is in financial trouble. To help, Ashley organizes a male-only nude edition.

Robertson immediately withdrew from the story. "When I read the script, I said, 'This is my kind of Christmas movie,'" the actress said.

One of the people taking part in the show is Luke, played by Murray. "Polite, confident and a little sarcastic", is the description of his character. Murray took the preparation for his role seriously. "I've never recorded anything like this. I told myself it scared me, but I had to do it," he said.

Screenwriter Sokoloff also stars in the film. "The costumes are the highlight. There are so many themes and fun moments. I can't wait for everyone to see the film," she said.

The film also stars Beth Broderick, Michael Gross, Maxwell Caulfield, Colt Prattes, Marc Anthony Samuel and Hector David Jr.
