As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, IPKO is showing its unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of the community by organizing a series of special activities from October 11 to 13 in Prishtina Goods. In cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo and Prishtina Mall, this event aims to raise awareness of cancer prevention and provide valuable support to patients and their families.

During these three days, citizens will have the opportunity to receive advice from a team of specialists, including oncologists, gynecologists, radiologists, pathologists and nutritionists. They will share important knowledge on risk factors and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

As part of the "Together Against Cancer" campaign, IPKO is reaffirming its support for patients who face or have overcome the challenge of cancer, sharing inspiring stories of their courage and resilience. "Every step we take to raise health awareness is an investment in a healthier future for all of us," emphasized Afrika Zyferi, head of communications at IPKO.

As part of its commitment to community health, IPKO continues to support initiatives that help fight cancer by donating an advanced "Versana Essential Advanced Version" ultrasonography system from General Electric Healthcare to the Main Family Medicine Center in Fushë Kosovë. This device will play an important role in the prevention and early detection of cancer, improving medical services in this community.

IPKO has been contributing to the health sector for years, with a special focus on the fight against cancer. Last year was marked by a series of donations from IPKO to the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Clinic and the Oncology Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK), within the framework of the International Cancer Day.

In 2020, IPKO also donated a sophisticated ultrasound system to the Oncology Clinic, which detects cancer in its early stages. All these contributions aim to support institutions in their efforts to provide the best care for cancer patients and their families.

As a leading company in the telecommunications sector in Kosovo, IPKO clearly shows its commitment to a healthier and more informed society through these initiatives, reflecting the company's social responsibility and commitment to the well-being of the entire community.
