The Kosovo Police today raided a certain location in North Mitrovica, after receiving information about the presence of narcotic substances.

The news was confirmed for KosovaPress by the director of the Police for the North Region, Veton Elshani. KosovaPress reported on this action a little while ago.

According to the police, during the raid on this house, the police seized a significant amount of weapons and military equipment, including: 1 AK-47 firearm; 2 M-75 hand grenades; 2 radio connections; 2 bulletproof vests; Hat and gloves; Military bag; Empty and loaded pistol magazines; Map; Waist belt; Spray and knife; Camouflage scarf.

"Two suspects, with the initials AJ, born in 1992, and VJ, born in 1978, were not found in the house during the raid and are wanted by the police. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to fight organized crime and illegal weapons in the north of the country," Elshani informed KosovaPress. It is further stated that investigations into this case are ongoing.
