Three penalties were missed, Fiorentina defeats Milan
Fiorentina scored a dramatic victory against Milan tonight, in a match in which three penalties were missed - one by the home team and two by the away team.
The home side in Florence failed to take the lead in the 22nd minute when Kean was given a chance to score from the penalty spot but failed to do so.
The hosts, however, took the lead through Adli in the 35th minute, assisted by Gosens.
The visitors "repeated" Kean's mistake, failing to score from the penalty spot through Hernandez in the first minute of extra time.
Abraham also missed the second penalty awarded to the visiting team in the 56th minute, thus missing a great opportunity to equalize the numbers.
Pulisic in the 60th minute scored a goal for 1:1, after the assist of Hernandez, but it was not enough for Milan to be separated by a point, suffering once again for the epilogue 2:1, through the goal from Icelander Gudmundsson in the minute 73rd.
Both teams were down one player each after Palladino and Hernandez were sent off in the 86th minute, the sixth minute of extra time.
After seven rounds, Milan ranks sixth in Serie A with 11 points, while Fiorentina, for whom this was only the second victory this season, is in 11th position with 10 points. Napoli leads the table with a total of 16 points.
