At the panel for justice at the meeting of the General Council of the Vetëvendosje Movement, the chairman of the Commission for Legislation, Adnan Rrustemi, spoke.

He spoke about the work of the commission that he leads during the government so far.

"The number of legal initiatives that has been handled is incomparable to any of the previous legislatures. 57 legal initiatives in three and a half years, which regulate different spheres of the justice system. Our commitment as a commission has been total in addressing the needs in achieving an independent justice system... ", said Rrustemi.

According to him, the delays occurred regarding the laws due to the insistence of the opposition to send some of these laws to the Venice and Constitutional Commission, which are related to the fight against corruption and the justice system.

Deputy Ministers of Justice Blerim Sallahu were also part of the discussion panel, who spoke about the establishment of the Commercial Court in 2023, after which 14 cases were transferred, where for one year this has resolved 4.500 cases and will continue with solving other subjects as quickly as possible.

While the other deputy minister Visar Qorolli spoke about the initiative to address delays in courts and improve services for citizens in the field of justice.
