The public company, Telekom i Kosova, announces that its accounts have been blocked again by the Private Executor, for the Z-Mobile case.

Telekom announces that 'the blocking of accounts is based on unfair and politically influenced decisions'.

"After the refusal of the Cancellation of the Executive Order related to the arbitration in the "Dardafon 2" (Z-Mobile) case by the Commercial Court, yesterday, on 03.10.2024, the Private Executor accepted this Decision only within an hour, has blocked all the bank accounts of Telecom of Kosovo. This blocking of the bank accounts of Telekom of Kosovo by the Private Executor is based on completely unfair decisions, therefore Telekom of Kosovo will continue to oppose these decisions which are the result of a time and a bad management extremely influenced by the politics of at that time also from powerful private interests", the announcement states.

Further in the communiqué it is stated that this case is the second biggest consequence of a very harmful contract of 2009, through which Telekom i Kosova, until now, apart from being financially damaged by over 100 million euros, was unjustly forced to pay over another 60 million euros through court proceedings that were created through this contract. With this blocking of the accounts, the Private Executor intends to withdraw from the accounts of Telecom of Kosovo, and in the interest of Z-Mobile, about 12 million euros of principal debt.

"Even though Telekom i Kosova has filed a criminal complaint with the relevant law enforcement agencies and has publicly denounced this contract in connection with the numerous negative consequences that it has produced and continues to produce for the company from schemes organized for the benefit of certain interest groups, unfortunately until today none of the officials and persons involved in this criminal scheme has given an account before the court".

In the end, it is said that the management of Telecom of Kosovo, starting today, together with the Board of Directors, will analyze and undertake all possible steps in order to unlock the blocked bank accounts as soon as possible, and will take care to continue secure the process of modernization of services, as well as all other work and business processes, which are returning our company, slowly but surely, to its rightful place as the first provider of telecommunication services in our country.
