"Tumular cemetery of Dollci" is the monograph promoted today in the National Library of Kosovo. The data in this monograph present a study carried out in the summer of 2021, in the archaeological site known as the Tumular Necropolis of Dollci. For the first time, this tumular cemetery was identified in 2015 by Shafi Gashi, an archaeologist at the Archaeological Institute of Kosovo.

Authors of this monograph are Premtim Alaj, Sedat Baraliu and Bardhyl Rexhepi. Premtim Alaj spoke on their behalf, who emphasized that the field research was carried out for two months, while adding that it is also accessible to the international public.

Michael L. Galaty, who is an archaeologist and anthropologist, said that Kosovo should be proud of the research carried out and the Kosovar heritage.

The adviser to the Minister of Culture, Nora Krasniqi, said that for the first time they have started the process of expropriation of archaeological sites. Meanwhile, reviewer Shafi Gashi said that this monograph contains six chapters in two languages.

The Archaeological Institute of Kosovo has carried out archaeological excavations for about two months, where it has been possible to discover, document and save a rich archaeological material, which has once again confirmed that this locality represents a rich area. /Sh. Pajaziti
