Amid tensions and clashes, the meeting of the Committee for Economy took place, in which it was not possible to review the annual report of the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals - KPMM for the year 2023. The clash started after the insistence of the Chairman of the Board of KPMM, Habib Basholli , who requested that in a low report also the acting officer, Sali Mulaj, to present the report for the year 2023. However, the chairman of the Commission, Ferat Shala, did not agree with this, who said that the same is the UD with an expired term .
Shala addressed the chairman Basholli, saying that he himself made the rule.
MP Shala reacted after that.
For this, Basholli said that the person is UD, but he added that the position of the director is being recruited.Basholli added that the procedures to replace them are under way according to the law, but he asked Shala that if they were illegal, why he did not remove them.
Shala retorted with Basholli saying that this is not your job.
Meanwhile, the deputy from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Valentina Bunjaku-Rexhepi, said that the responsibility for reporting belongs to those who are elected.
Meanwhile, MP Shala said that they are giving them another week's deadline, but they will report for 2022, 2023 and part of 2024.
Meanwhile, on the agenda was also the review of the Annual Report of the Public Enterprise of the System, Transmission and Market Operator - KOSTT Sh.a. for 2023, but the same ones were not able to report today due to the board's agenda. Meanwhile, the report has been postponed to the next meeting.
