Bad news for Rafael Nadal fans. The Spaniard has canceled participation in the upcoming Laver Cup in Berlin. “I am very disappointed to have to inform you that I will not be able to attend the Laver Cup in Berlin next week. To really support Team Europe, I would have to give my best, but at the moment there are other players who can help the team win," said Nadal, explaining his resignation on Laver Cup's X channel.

It is not known if the 38-year-old is injured. The organizers have already announced a replacement for him. Grigor Dimitrov plays for Team Europe instead of Nadal. Bulgaria is currently ranked 10th in the world, according to KosovaPress.
