The Assembly of Kosovo today starts the autumn session with the plenary session where there are 29 items on the agenda for consideration and voting.

The Democratic Institute of Kosovo (KDI) has evaluated the spring session of the Assembly of Kosovo as weak. According to them, in this session the parliamentary supervision of the executive has failed and the trend of lack of quorum in plenary sessions has continued. On the other hand, they emphasized that the elections scheduled for February 9, 2025 are expected to affect the performance of the autumn session of the Assembly.

The majority during the spring session approved 36 draft laws, of which only 1 percent are from the legislative agenda of 2024, while about 99 percent of this agenda remains for treatment during the autumn session.

Of the draft laws approved, 20 of them are international agreements, while there are 15 draft laws and a draft code that regulate various topics and issues. In the spring session in the Assembly, there were 525 absences, or 24.3 percent of the deputies were absent
