On September 24 of this year, it will be one year since the terrorist attack in Banjska, where the hero, Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku, was killed. Only after one year, the Special Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment in the Basic Court of Pristina for 45 defendants who are suspected to be involved in this attack, where the main accused is also the leader of the group, Millan Radoicic. Regarding this indictment, the heads of state have given different comments, evaluating it as a late action by the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Meanwhile, the former chief inspector of KIA, Burim Ramadani, emphasizes that pressure can only be applied to the prosecution by people who do not understand how the system works, or who have other goals that do not suit the state of Kosovo.

Ramadani told KosovaPress that such an indictment must be professionally prepared.

According to him, the Prosecutor's Office does not have the role of the Kosovo Police or other investigative institutions.

Ramadani added that the indictment has been filed, but it does not end only with the indictment.

Ramadani emphasized that even the prosecution was able to turn the "game" and tell the Kosovo Government and Police to bring Radoicić and accuse them of failure.

Meanwhile, in a press conference today, the Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution, Blerim Isufaj emphasized that for the 45 defendants there is a well-founded suspicion that they have committed criminal offenses related to terrorism, criminal offenses against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo and financing of terrorism and money laundering. He added that the examinations that were carried out abroad have influenced the delay in filing this indictment.

There were also comments from the Speaker of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca and the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu.

Speaker Glauk Konjufca said that it is good news, as he added that "better late than never".

"This is good news and news that I don't want to criticize. There is a phrase 'better late than never' for this, and that's how it happened." said Konjufca.

The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, welcomed the filing of the indictment for the attack in Banjska i Zveçan, for which she said that they have continuously expressed their concerns about not filing this indictment.

"We have continuously expressed our concerns because you did not indict the chief terrorist, Milan Radojçic in 2021, you remember that the arrest warrant was withdrawn for that, we still do not have an answer as to why the arrest warrant was withdrawn. We have expressed our concerns because it is known what the intentions of Serbia were, it is known that that terrorist group financed by Serbia and trained there in their training bases, that is why we have requested an international investigation into these training bases and we welcome the filing of indictments for the chief terrorist Milan Radojčić and other terrorists", she said.
