The Kosovo U21 national team scored an important victory as a guest against Israel, in the framework of the qualifications for the European Championship 2025. In the match held in Budapest, the boys led by Afrim Tovërlani won with a score of 1:0.

Decisive for this meeting was the goal scored by Milot Abdylit in the 11th minute. He scored from a powerful shot from a distance, which surprised the Israeli goalkeeper Niv Eliasi. Kosovo had other cases to note, where two of them are worth highlighting. In the 22nd minute, Etnik Brutti launched a powerful shot from outside the area, but Eliasi this time managed to stop the ball, avoiding the second goal for Kosovo.

Meanwhile, in the 83rd minute, Redon Ismaili received a good ball in the center of the area and had an excellent opportunity to score, but his shot ended up in the hands of the Israeli goalkeeper. With this victory, Kosovo U21 ranks 4th in Group D of the European U21 qualifiers, with 12 accumulated points, as much as Bulgaria has in third place.

This win boosts the team's hopes for a better ranking at the end of these qualifiers. On October 11, Kosovo U21 hosts Poland, while on October 15, it closes the qualifying campaign with an away match against Estonia.

After the match, the players together with their coach Afrim Tovërlani and the rest of the staff celebrated together a well-deserved victory and a video from the moments of the celebration was shared by the coach Toverlani himself.
