Croatia has defeated Poland, while Portugal defeated Scotland in the second round matches of Group A1 of the Nations League.
The goal for Croatia in the Osiek stadium came only in the second half and in the 52nd minute when Luka Modric beat the visiting goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski for 1:0.
In this way, the Croatians reached the first victory and the second place in the group with three points, the same as the third Poland, but with a weaker goal difference.
Portugal, meanwhile, struggled to victory at Lisbon's Da Luz Stadium against an unfit Scotland. The latter took the lead through Scott McTominay's goal as early as the seventh minute, with which result (0:1) ended the first half.
Coach Roberto Martínez made two substitutions at the beginning of the second half, removing Joao Palhinha and Pedro Neto from the field, replacing them with Ruben Neves and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese continued to be more dangerous against the opponent, reaching the equalizer through Bruno Fernandes, in the 54th minute, after the assist of Rafael Leao. While the great victory for the first place in the group was secured by Cristiano Ronaldo two minutes before the end of the match.
Portugal leads the table with six points from two games and as many wins, while Scotland is last in the group after no points.
