A man was stabbed in a hotel in western Germany after an argument over a noise complaint.

Four guests got into a fight on Sunday in the town of Rodermark, south of Frankfurt, Offenbach police said.

Then the 33-year-old stabbed the man in the upper body. The victim was taken to hospital and police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

The suspect fled into the woods and was soon arrested. He was detained by order of the state attorney along with a 29-year-old accomplice.
