Bulgaria defeated Northern Ireland in the second match of Group C3 in the Nations League.

The match at the "Hristo Botev" stadium in Plovdiv ended today with the victory of the hosts 1:0, with the goal of Kiril Despotov in the 40th minute from a free kick.

After two games, Bulgaria ranks second in the group with four points, the same as first Belarus, but with a better goal difference. The latter defeated Luxembourg 1:0 as a guest today.

Northern Ireland and Luxembourg are third and fourth without any points.

Today, the second match of Group D1 of the League of Nations took place, in which Gibraltar lost the home victory against Liechtenstein (2:2), after conceding a goal in the 114th minute from the penalty. San Marino leads the table with three points.
