Mediterranean Games'Prishtina 2030' are turning out to be a 'bone of contention' between the Municipality of Pristina and the Government of Kosovo. A request by the latter to change the agreement with the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games has brought the harsh response of the vice president of Pristina, Alban Zogaj.

In an interview for KosovaPress, he says that the Government of Kosovo had a tendency to exclude the Municipality of Pristina from these games, until he expressed concern that due to disagreements, there may be delays in the construction of the necessary sports infrastructure.

He added that the government's tendency to exclude Pristina from this organization is completely meaningless.

Zogaj has a clear message for the Government of Kosovo, saying that the Mediterranean Games "are not organized without Pristina".

As a result of these disagreements, the vice president of Pristina emphasizes that communication and relations with the Government and the Ministry of Sports are not at the right level.

However, the optimism to overcome this situation still exists and according to Zogaj, Kosovo is not in danger of losing the right to organize these games.

Otherwise, Kosovo won the right to organize the Mediterranean Games at the General Assembly of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games held in September last year in Crete, Greece.
