The reactions of Kosovo's international allies after the decision to close the parallel Serbian municipalities in the north are disturbing according to the two opposition parties LDK and AAK. Although they say that the illegal Serbian structures in the north must be extinguished, they consider it necessary to coordinate with the Western allies. On the other hand, in the ruling party, Vetëvendosje Movement, they consider the harsh statements of the allies unfair, while they emphasize that the extinguishing of illegal structures in the north are not provocative, but respect for law and order.

LDK MP Rrezarta Krasniqi tells KosovaPress that Prime Minister Kurti and his ministers are isolated from international allies. According to her, the punitive measures against Kosovo and their non-removal are an alarm for the breakdown of relations with the Western allies.

AAK deputy, Time Kadrijaj, declares that Kosovo is losing Western allies and friends as a result of Prime Minister Kurti's wrong actions.

On the other hand, LVV MP, Enver Dugolli, although he considers the international allies' reactions to the closure of the parallel Serbian municipalities in the north to be unfair, declares that the reports have not worsened.

After the closure of the parallel structures in the north, the United States of America and the European Union have strongly reacted to the Government of Kosovo, qualifying them as "provocative and unilateral actions."
