The prices of some food products in the country continue to rise continuously. For this, the citizens complain, who state that their lives are becoming more and more burdensome every day with the high prices, this is due to the low income they have, while they ask the responsible institutions to take measures.
In the green market in Pristina, citizens this week have paid up to 1 euro per kilogram for some vegetables, while they express concern about this phenomenon. Economic experts also assess the same, who say that Kosovo continues to face high inflation.
Citizen Xhemailadin Arifi, who is temporarily in Kosovo, says that the prices are high compared to the incomes that citizens receive in our country.
And while comparing the prices in the country where he lives, America with Kosovo, he says that some products there are cheaper.
Even another citizen, Drita Kazazi, complains about the high prices, while saying that with a pension of 100 euros they can barely make it.

Meanwhile, economic experts, while asking the institutions to ensure social protection in terms of food, which are important for the lives of citizens, say that during these three years, this phenomenon has reached alarming proportions.
