The National Center for Border Management (KKMK) has called on citizens of Kosovo and emigrants to avoid all entries and exits at border crossing points with Serbia.

The announcement states that this call comes after the warnings of the so-called "Organizational Council for Blockades" in Serbia, which announced that on September 6, 2024, road blockades are planned that lead to border crossing points with the Republic of Kosovo.

"All citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and members of the diaspora who plan to transit through the territory of Serbia are hereby notified to avoid all entrances and exits at the Border Crossing Point between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia. This call comes after the warnings of the so-called "Organizational Council for Blockades" in Serbia, which has announced that on September 6, 2024, blockades of the roads leading to the PKK with the Republic of Kosovo are planned," says the KKMK announcement.

It is further stated that the competent authorities of the RKS, in cooperation with partners, have taken all actions to manage the warned situation and encourage you to carefully follow the developments and new warnings related to the situation and to be informed only from the official sources of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, to avoid misinformation and fake news.

KKMK and the competent authorities will continue to be kept informed of any new developments.
