Mount Dajti, only 22.4 kilometers from the center of the capital, 1 meters above sea level, is another wonderful attraction for foreign tourists who decide to visit our country.

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, published today on social networks images from the Dajti Mountain National Park, 'a mosaic of nature that hangs over Tirana, offering opportunities for various activities and extraordinary landscapes'.

"...and with the Dajti Mountain National Park, a mosaic of nature that sits above Tirana offering opportunities for various activities and extraordinary landscapes, I wish you a peaceful Sunday", wrote Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Dajti Mountain with its forest landscapes of beech, oak, chestnut, cherry, strawberry, black pine, invites you to completely disconnect from the urban life of Tirana to become a part of nature.

With about 26 species of forest trees and shrubs, which cover about 80% of the territory, plants and herbs, wild animals and birds, the two dominant peaks, the "balconies", standing on the steep rocks, this area has become an attraction for foreign tourists who like nature and adventure.

Visitors can also enjoy the spectacular views of the sunset that at over 1000 meters in height offer an amazing spectacle, accompanied by an infinity of twinkling lights of Tirana.
