The Kosovo police have arrested three people in Suharekë on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of attempted murder.

The spokesperson of the regional police for Prizren, Shaqir Bytyqi, informed KosovaPress that the incident happened today around 02:05 in the morning in Topliçan in Suhareka, where a woman was also injured.

"After a fight, a person accompanied by two friends, from the parking lot of a nightclub in Topliçan, Suhareka, fired a shot at the bar. As a result, a woman was wounded in the leg by the bullet and 6 other people suffered minor bodily injuries from the glass," he said.

The suspects left the scene immediately, while the police immediately launched an action to arrest them.

"Two suspects C.S. (22) and AA (23) from Suhareka, after being interviewed by order of the guardian prosecutor, were detained for 48 hours, while the third suspect, AD (18), was released following a regular procedure. The weapon suspected to have been used to commit the crime was also found and seized."
