The joint candidacy of the Albanian Football Federation and that of Serbia for the organization of the Euro 2027 European Championship for the U21 age group, the presentation of the Albanian journalist with symbols of the Serbian state, but also the appointment of a Serbian coach at the head of the Albanian team, Partizan, has provoked reactions from numerous in the football-loving opinion in Kosovo.

Analysts, coaches and connoisseurs of football in Kosovo consider that such an approach in Albania may also lead to the fading of the support that Kosovar fans have for the Albanian National Team.

The sports journalist, Lulzim Shala, told KosovaPress that this behavior of the sports actors in Albania is not the right way and it is also harmful from a moral point of view.

"We are very sensitive in this direction and Albania should also be a little careful in this regard... This is very harmful in moral terms because it is affecting the aspect of cooperation between the two federations... This practice is not leading to the right way, there should be much greater cooperation between Kosovo and Albania, so that Albania also understands us about the trouble we had in the past with Serbia", declared Shala.

And the journalist Arlind Sadiku considers that through these movements there is an attempt to normalize the fact that Albania and Serbia have announced their candidacy for the U21 European Championship in 2027.

Even, according to experts, this situation can lead to the fading of the support of Kosovar fans for the red and black national team.

"I think it will have an impact, especially with the offer of the European Championship Time. We have seen that even the red and black fans have officially opposed the organization of the European Championship between Serbia and Albania, and I think that even the support of the fans towards the Albanian National Team will fade if it continues with this cooperation between the two countries because we are seeing that only one side is expresses readiness", emphasized Sadiku.

This is because Kosovars are still very sensitive when it comes to cooperation with Serbia.

In addition, the football coach, Gani Sejdiu, has warned that if this kind of trend continues, Kosovo should see unconditional support for Albania from a different angle.

"Kosovo fans have revived the Albanian national team in football since 2000, Albania has had few fans, this must be said openly, while Kosovo fans have revived the Albanian national team. Of course, it can have a very negative impact in this regard because we are very sensitive in this aspect", added Shala.

"I think that these things have started to become more frequent, things that affect us a lot because you know how attached we Kosovars are to the state of Albania, so this is not good... This can still affect a lot because if this trend continues, then it comes to a moment where we also have to become aware and look at things from a different angle... If someone does not respect you, then your respect for someone can fade", said Sejdiu.

Otherwise, recently, in an interview for KosovaPress, the President of the Football Federation of Kosovo also reacted, saying that he did not like the cooperation of the Albanian Football Federation and that of Serbia for the organization of the European Football Championship for the U21 age group. in 2027.
