The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, accompanied by the director of the National Health and Welfare Institute, Elvir Azizi, will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Emergency Clinic, where the spaces have been completely renovated.

Through the investment by the Ministry of Health and the University Hospital and Clinic Service of Kosovo, the spaces of the Emergency Clinic have undergone a complete renovation, these spaces will be more easily accessible for the staff and citizens who receive services.

Based on the data in the public procurement, the value of the contract for emergency renewal is 779 thousand euros.

The Emergency Clinic of the Clinical and University Center of Kosovo continues to have the main burden in providing emergency health services for the patients of Kosovo.

Based on the six-month work report, 46 thousand 769 patients have received health services, of which 4 thousand 770 patients have been accepted for further treatment in various internal and surgical clinics.

From the total number of patients, over 10 patients were treated in intensive care, 15 in the internal medicine service, 7 surgical cases, over 505 patients in the orthopedic service.

Also, for this period of time, 636 operations were performed in the operating rooms and over 3 thousand cases in the small intervention room.

ShSKUK has significantly improved the supply of drugs and consumables, where the Emergency Clinic has been supplied with high priority.

It should be noted that ShSKUK has taken measures together with general hospitals, so that emergency cases that can receive treatment in general hospitals are not referred to KKUK.
