The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Ferizaj has announced that it has filed an indictment against the defendants NL, KH, and KL, due to the well-founded suspicion of ongoing and co-committed "Fraud" criminal offenses as well as "Assisting in the commission of the "Fraud" criminal offense.

According to the indictment of the Prosecution, there is a well-founded suspicion that during the time period 2020-2022, the defendant NL, intentionally and with the purpose of illegal financial gain for himself by means of false presentation of facts, forces the injured to act in damage to their property, in such a way that he promises them that he will be able to provide them with work contracts in the American military bases in Iraq, Afghanistan and Poland, so that in order to secure these work contracts, he asks them for the sum of money in values ​​from 3000 thousand to 6000 thousand euros.

According to a communiqué, the victims hand over either in cash or through bank transfers, and despite the fact that they have been waiting for months, the work contracts, he never succeeds in providing them, but he also does not return the money.

"The total damage from the defendant's actions amounts to around 80 euros, with which he committed the ongoing criminal offense of "Fraud". Also, according to the Prosecutor's Office, there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendants NL and KH, in continuation and complicity with intent and with the purpose of illegal benefit for themselves, have deceived some injured parties in such a way that they promise them that they will to be able to secure work contracts at US military bases in Iraq, Afghanistan and Poland, forcing the victims to act to the detriment of their property, so that for securing these work contracts, sums of money in values ​​from 3000 thousand to 6000 thousand euros, so that the injured parties hand them over either in cash or through bank transfers, which money they then share together, and despite the fact that the injured parties wait for months, the employment contracts fail to they never provide them, and they never return the money", the communiqué states

The prosecution emphasizes that they have committed the ongoing and co-perpetrated criminal offense "Fraud".

"However, the defendant KL, in the future, intentionally helps the defendant NL, at the same time her husband, to commit the criminal offense "Fraud", in such a way that until the latter was not found in Kosovo, she was meeting with several from the injured parties and from the same accepts sums of money in the value of 3000 thousand to 6000 thousand euros, and then either deposits these sums of money in the bank account of the defendant NL, or transfers them through "Eastern Union", with which she continues to help her husband in illegal financial gain that resulted from the commission of the criminal offense "Fraud" from Article 323 paragraph 4 in relation to Article 33 and 77 of the KPRK", the communiqué states.

The prosecutor of the case, on the occasion of the indictment, has proposed to the Court that after the holding of the judicial review, the administration of the evidence and their evaluation, the aforementioned defendants be declared guilty of the criminal offenses for which they are accused and punished according to the law.
