Albania will host the NATO Summit in 2027, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has announced. At the Ambassadors' conference in Tirana, he said that Albania has become a point of reference in the international arena.

The head of the Albanian government also emphasized that the European Political Community Summit will be held in Tirana next year, where 44 European leaders will be present.

"How important it is for us as a small country to be represented with the highest volume of ambition and the ability to be respectful, it gives us the opportunity to host the NATO Summit in 2027, not even they could have imagined years ago, that Albania would become a point of reference and Albania would be entrusted with such roles", he said.

According to him, the development of these important summits in Tirana could not even be imagined before.

In addition to these, Rama congratulated the work of the Albanian ambassadors, who according to him have raised diplomacy to a high level.
