The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, has said that Germany fully supports the statements of Boris Ruge, Assistant Secretary General of NATO, during his visit to Kosovo.

Through a post on his profile on the X platform, Rohde wrote that Germany is doing its part in KFOR from the beginning, contributing to security and stability in Kosovo and the entire region.

"Full support for all aspects mentioned by @RugeBoris. Germany is doing its part in supporting @NATO_KFOR since its inception, contributing to security and stability in Kosovo and the entire region," he said. .

"This achieved stability should not be put at risk by the lack of dialogue or uncoordinated actions" Rohde wrote, where he also distributed Ruge's statement in which he said that "NATO's position is that the issue of the Ibri Bridge should to be resolved through dialogue", added Rohde.

Meanwhile, President Vjosa Osmani in the meeting re-emphasized her position that the opening of the bridge, as an act of normalization and integration, is in the interest of all citizens, regardless of ethnicity.

President Osmani reiterated that the implementation plan for the opening of the bridge should be done in consultation and coordination between our institutions and our security partners.
