From the management of the "Trepça" Enterprise, they confirmed for KosovaPress that the miners received their salaries for the month of June, but not for the month of July.

Meanwhile, the Government of Kosovo last week allocated over 4 million euros from the Economic Recovery Package for miners' salaries, in order to overcome the current crisis.

The same people had warned of a protest for the realization of their demands, but this was canceled after the government's subsidy of millions of euros for the miners of Trepça.

On the other hand, this company has suspended five workers from work for the reason of "violation of work duties".

Otherwise, the miners of Trepca had almost two months without receiving their salaries.
