The Ministry of Finance has announced that field visits for Piloting the Reform of the Social Assistance Scheme have begun.

The Ministry of Finance emphasizes that from today the field visits by the employees of the Centers for Social Work to the families in different municipalities of Kosovo have started. 

According to the announcement, during the visits, social workers ask some questions to the family applying for the SAS Pilot to assess the standard of living and verify the data on the living conditions self-declared in the application form.

"The families will first be contacted by the officials of the Center for Social Work to arrange the visit. If you need additional clarifications regarding this process, you can contact the call center created for this purpose at one of the following numbers: +383 (0) 38 200 34289 +383 (0) 38 200 34287. We remind you that from Pilotimi of the Social Assistance Scheme can benefit poor families and those in severe economic conditions, as a continuation of the existing social assistance scheme, with the difference that discriminatory criteria are removed.
