Citizens of Kosovo remain loyal to the coast in Albania. There are over two million citizens of our country who have visited Albania within seven months. After Kosovo comes North Macedonia, followed by Italy and England.

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama expressed his satisfaction with the total number of tourists from January to July, whose number reaches 6.3 million.

"Tourist Albania continues to grow rapidly, along with the indisputable needs, the natural expectations, the understandable claims, the inevitable criticism or even the attacks that are made from various sources of misinformation or disinformation. Among all the expectations, the most indisputable is the further revision of the beach administration formula, where the most dominant is the need not only for more public spaces, but also for a much more responsible use of the spaces administered by private entities. The further increase in the number of visitors has simultaneously increased the weight of the challenge of cleanliness, where further improvements have been made, but where it needs to be done and we will undoubtedly do more, learning new lessons and taking new measures. There have been counterproductive excesses with prices in certain areas, namely Vlorë and Sarandë, where compared to years the highest increase in the number of restaurant/bar businesses was recorded, with about 40% new units, while their growth nationwide is 37%. But, while turnover in the rest of the country has increased by nearly 40%, in these areas it has increased by less than 20%, precisely as a result of the increase in price excesses at the beginning of the peak season, which were partially corrected starting from the second half of July - a lesson not to be forgotten by the operators in the free market, who from the next season will be forced to display the prices at the entrance of every bar", wrote Rama .

According to him, the infrastructure developed further from last year, be it the road or the energy and water supply, as well as the measures taken to protect the washing waters, have made an indisputable contribution to the increase in the quality of the season, but it is so indisputable is the large volume of work that remains to be done in these directions for Tourism Albania 2030.

"The high increase in the number of visitors to the mountainous areas and the lakes and rivers of the country, from north to south, is thanks not only to the new attractive image of Albania, but also to the significant improvements of the infrastructure and the increase in the number of service units, as well as even in non-coastal cities with Tirana at the top, it is the best news of this season. Even misinformation and disinformation have had their growth in every direction, thanks to the dizzying speed of lies in today's world of channels, portals and social media, but just as the sun cannot be covered with a sieve, neither can the truth of this country. better, more attractive, safer on the way to the top of #ALBANIA2030?? it cannot be undone by anyone", he wrote, clarifying that the attached tables include only the places with the largest number of visitors.
