Today marks nine years since Esat Stavilevci left academic life.
He was born on July 11, 1942 in Gjakovë, where he completed primary and secondary education, while the Faculty of Law in Pristina. He continued and finished his post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb.
He obtained his doctorate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo in 1974. From 1965 until his retirement, he worked as a professor at the Faculty of Law in Pristina, where even after retirement he was engaged in master's and doctoral studies. From 2000, he was a regular member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo (ASHAK).
His creativity extends to many fields of scientific interest, especially legal-constitutional ones, in the field of political-comparative systems, administration and public administration in general, methodology of social and legal sciences, as well as in the field of legal terminology./KosovaPress /
