Prime Minister Albin Kurti expressed his condolences to the family of Sefadin Osmanaj, the firefighter who died in the line of duty. He said that the country has experienced a painful loss, for which he appealed against arson and for cooperation with the country's institutions in an immediate response. In the address before the start of the government meeting, the chief executive, Albin Kurti, said that deliberate arson is a criminal offense punishable by law. He announced that the Ministry of Health has taken protective measures again, for changing working hours during hot days.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that high temperatures are increasing the risk of fires and their rapid spread. A firefighter lost his life a few days ago in the line of duty in Krushevo, Klina. Regarding the fires, Kurti said that yesterday he also discussed with the KFOR commander.

The chief executive announced the protective measures imposed by the Ministry of Health from 11:00 to 16:00.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has called on the citizens to adhere to the recommendations of health institutions and to avoid extreme heat. Also, he has invited public and private institutions to strictly implement these recommendations.
