Biden on Trump: If he wins the election, he is a danger to America
US President Joe Biden assessed, in an interview published today, that his predecessor in the White House, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, is a "real danger to America's security" if he is elected on November 5.
"Listen to me carefully. If he wins that election, watch what happens. This is dangerous. He is a real danger to America's security," Biden told CBS.
Biden withdrew from the presidential race and gave the seat to Vice President Kamala Harris.
"We are at a turning point. We are really at a tipping point ... and democracy is a key element," Biden added in a taped conversation a few days ago at the White House.
He looked better then than he did in the June 27 CNN debate with Trump.
"I had a really bad day during that debate because I was sick, but I don't have any serious health problems," he told CBS when asked about it.
Three weeks after his disastrous debate performance, Biden announced on July 21 that he was withdrawing from the presidential race.
