Headaches are not uncommon and occur eight times more often in hot weather.

Besides making it difficult to work and concentrate on tasks, they are not pleasant at all.

The first reason is high temperature. Every organism reacts to heat by dilating blood vessels and resulting in a drop in blood pressure.

When blood pressure is too low, not enough blood reaches all parts of the body.

As a result, the cells do not receive enough oxygen and nutrients, which means that there is not enough blood, which can trigger headaches.

Second, in the heat we sweat, we lose important fluids and minerals. Blood flow to the skin increases and blood pressure decreases, causing headaches in some people.

The large temperature difference between outdoor air and air in air-conditioned closed spaces is also a trigger for headaches.

How to avoid a headache during the heat?

- Drink enough fluids

- Avoid staying in closed places

- Wear light and bright materials

- If you suffer from high blood pressure, don't forget to take your medicine

- Take a cold shower

- Avoid being outdoors between 10:00 and 17:00, when the sun is strongest.
