The Presidency of Kosovo reacted after the Civil Aviation Agency of North Macedonia found that the airport services responsible for security checks acted according to international regulations.

According to the presidency, in no country in the world is the head of state required to hand over the phone for scanning.

It is also said that in other countries neither the personal luggage nor the personal bag of the head of state is checked, let alone the personal phone.

"As the Presidency, we have enough experience with other trips, we don't need to try it, because nowhere, never, neither the personal bag, nor the suitcase (personal luggage) nor the phone of the head of state have been subjected to control. Of the dozens of countries we have visited to date, RMV is the only country in the world that refuses to apply customary international law and international conventions related to the head of state. As we have stated several times, the president checked her bag and she passed the scanner. Any other statement is propaganda for political purposes. There is nothing professional about the behavior of security who walks up to a head of state and blocks his movement after he has placed his bag in the scanner. RMV has violated the international rules that are applied everywhere in the world by requesting the scanning of the phone of the President of another country, which would present a potential for national security violation", you said in the reaction of the presidency.

It is also said that the president did not return to Kosovo via the Skopje Airport, i.e. she changed her travel itinerary, because her security team has assessed that even the basic security conditions for such a thing do not exist after the dizzying propaganda.
