London Mayor Sadiq Khan said the city is looking forward to singer Taylor Swift's return to Wembley Arena for five announced and sold-out concerts next week, despite the recent cancellation of her concerts in Austria due to terror threats.

Khan said the British capital and police had learned lessons from the Manchester Arena attack, when a suicide bomber killed 22 people at an Ariana Grande concert in northwest England in 2017.

"We have a lot of experience in policing these events, we are never complacent, many lessons have been learned since the horrific attack at Manchester Arena," Khan told Sky News.

He added that police are working closely with city authorities and local councils in neighborhoods where concerts, such as Swift's concerts over the next two weeks, are taking place.

Austrian authorities have canceled Taylor Swift's planned concerts in Vienna due to a terrorist threat. Two suspects have been arrested and the attacks have been prevented. Both were apparently inspired by the Islamic State and Al Qaeda groups, Austrian authorities said today.

Investigators found bomb-making materials in the home of one of them. Officials said the two admitted they planned to "kill as many people as possible in front of the concert venue."
