The measures of the European Union towards Kosovo are still in force and depending on the developments they may increase or decrease.
This is what the spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, said, saying that Kosovo's international partners are telling the administration in Pristina not to get involved in this series of counter-productive, negative, unilateral and uncoordinated steps.
"So the measures are still in place and we said at the time that the measures are progressive, they can increase or decrease depending on the development of the situation. So that also kind of addresses the first part of your question, what are we going to do? So we have measures and these measures can also be increased if all EU actors agree that they should be increased. In other parts of your question, if our statements and positions on the issues of the raids on the offices of the Post of Serbia and on the efforts to unilaterally open the bridge over the Ibar in the past days, we made our position very clear to our counterparts in Kosovo, at many levels, in many ways and through many partners, it is not only the European Union, basically all the international partners of Kosovo are telling the administration in Pristina not to get involved in this series of counterproductive, negative, one-sided and uncoordinated. And we hope that finally, they will hear the message and stop us from thinking about what kind of measures we are going to take in response if the situation does not change.", Stano said.
According to him, the measures are still in force.
