Some Serbian citizens have "clashed" today with the deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, before the start of the meeting in the North Mitrovica Municipality for a conversation with activists on the topic of 'Inter-ethnic cooperation, municipal counseling for community security, cooperation in between institutions and civil society".

A Serbian citizen addressed Elshan: The Serbs were just arrested in the "Braca Militia", this does not make sense.

"As soon as the Serbs were arrested in the "Braca milic" shehi, this does not make sense. Why this brutality. They have been whitewashing (the walls at the end of the Ibri bridge).. We asked them why they are whitewashing, they told us to go to the police.. Why whitewash our Serbian flag, when we have the right to do so under the constitution...", he said he.

For this, Elshan answered him: "They were doing their job when you left. That's what it's worth.

"They've been doing their job while you've been gone. That's what counts," he said.

The deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, stated that there is no reason for the Ibri Bridge to remain closed. In the meeting with citizens of North Mitrovica in the municipality facility, he said that there is no reason in terms of security for the bridge not to open.
