The senior adviser at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Jeta Tela, said that despite the challenges in the four northern municipalities, they have been committed to the uncompromising fight against crime. In the meeting with citizens, which is being held in the facility of the Municipality of North Mitrovica, she emphasized that the government's priority remains the rule of law and order.

Jeta Tela from the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that this meeting is an important mechanism that citizens have to raise ideas, concerns and propose solutions.

Further, she added that the license plate conversion process has gone well and that despite the dilemmas, it has been proven that it contributed to increasing traffic safety. She called on citizens to take advantage of the deadline for converting driver's licenses from those issued by illegal Serbian institutions to official Kosovo driver's licenses. 

Today, the deadline for converting drivers' licenses from those issued by illegal Serbian institutions to official drivers' licenses of the Republic of Kosovo has been extended until August 23.
