The inauguration of this road, which was part of the memorandum between the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Municipality of Shtime, is considered very important, as it connects several villages and reduces traffic.

The Minister of Infrastructure, Liburn, also participated in the inauguration of this road Aliu in which case he said that this investment is important because it connects the villages of the eastern part of the Highlands, creating opportunities for them to connect directly to the highways without having to burden the city center.

"We inaugurated the road 'February 17' with a length of 2.8 kilometers worth around 570 thousand euros. There was a memorandum between the ministry and the Municipality of Shtime... Meanwhile, the mayor of Shtime, Qemajl Aliu said that the inauguration of this road axis is important and vital for Shtime as it connects several villages on the left side and gives them the opportunity to go to the village of Gjyrkoc, and from there they can go to Lipjan, Pristina, Ferizaj and the Airport Pristina.

"Today is a happy day for the Municipality of Shtime, namely for the settlement here called 'Godanc'. The road 'February 17' is about 2.8 kilometers long, which is financed through a memorandum by the Ministry of Environment and Infrastructure and together with the Municipality of Shtime. It is a project that was implemented on time and qualitatively. It is a very important axis for the Municipality of Shtime because it connects all the villages on the left side, from Pjetershtica, Caraleva, Borci, Godanc i Epërm and Poshtëm, which go to the village of Gjyrkoc and through the village of Gjyrkoc these villages without having to create traffic in the city of Shtime, they can go to Lipjan, Prishtina, Ferizaj, but also to Pristina Airport", he emphasized Aliu.
