QMK: Nine active fires in North Macedonia, 25 have been extinguished
In the last 24 hours, a total of 40 fires were registered in North Macedonia, of which 25 were extinguished and six were brought under control.
Nine fires are active, two of which are in the municipality of Makedonski Brodi, near the village of Sllatin and near the villages of Tazevë - Breznicë and NP "Jasen", in Demir Hisar, Çashke, Petrovec, Studeniçan, Kîçovo, Dibër and Ohër, the Center announces today for Crisis Management.
The fires have been brought under control in the village of Negorci in Gjevgjelia, where a forest with low stems, spruce and pine was burning, in the municipality of Kîrçova, near the village of Zajas and Baçishte, where the mountain is involved, and in the municipality of Koçan, near the village called Panagjur, near Ponikva resorts, where beech wood was burning.
The fire has been extinguished in the Municipality of Makedonski Brodi, near the village of Slatinë, in the municipality of Pllasnica, near the village of Pllasnicë, while the fire continues to emit smoke in the village of Latovë.
The fire at the landfill in Dellçevo, where garbage is burning, is also under control.
QMK announces that four fires have been extinguished in the Municipality of Studeniçan.
The first near the village called Dreshnica above the village of Batinc, the second near the village of Ramni Gabër and Vrtekicë, the third near the village of Vrazalë and the last near the village of Koliçan i Poshtëm./Alsat.mk
