A 57-year-old man died and another was injured as a result of a stabbing today around 13:00 PM in Zllakuqan, Lipjan. The news was confirmed to KosovaPress by the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Prishtina region, Flora Ahmeti.

According to her, based on the first information, suspicions have been raised that a dispute between several people has resulted in the serious injury of two people.

"Around 13:00 p.m., the police received information about a murder that took place in the village of Zllakuqan in Lipjan. Immediately after receiving the information, the police went to the scene and took all the necessary actions, which consist of investigating the circumstances that characterize the event. Based on the first information, suspicions have been raised that a dispute between several people has resulted in the serious injury of two people, allegedly with a sharp knife. One of the injured persons died, while the other injured person was sent for medical treatment. The death of the male victim, about 57 years old, was confirmed by the medical team at the Medical Center in Magure. "Currently, police investigators in coordination with the prosecutor's office are undertaking investigative actions for the full clarification of the case, while two suspects have been arrested," she emphasized.
