The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, emphasized on Monday that for the incident of the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani at the Skopje Airport, there will be an official report that will show in detail what happened on August 2.
Albin Kurti, in the joint conference with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, also said that what happened to President Vjosa Osmani was a difficult experience. Until Mickoskika expressed regret for the case of President Osmani.
"Without a doubt, it was a difficult experience for the President of Kosovo, her Excellency, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, on August 2 at Skopje Airport, especially since she was with her family and her two young daughters , the authorities of North Macedonia, the heads of state here have expressed their regret and there will be an official report that will clarify this issue in full and in detail, so that we understand what exactly happened, but also so that we don't such situations will never happen again", emphasized Kurti.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti from Skopje expressed his belief that the official report will clarify what happened and as he said 'we should aim for the truth, and never for tension'.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Mickoski, mentioned the case of President Vjosa Osmani at Skopje Airport.
"We also opened the topics that are important for both countries at the political level, especially the last event that happened on August 2 with the president of Kosovo, also from those present it was underlined that according to the information we have from the officials of the Airport, it is that clear standards and international procedures are followed when we have commercial flights and that I, as the Prime Minister of Macedonia, the President of Macedonia and all the officials who go through the VIP section, are subject to these procedures, even though I want to say that I did not use it, but as an ordinary citizen...", stressed Mickoski.
Kurti said that the two countries have cooperation in all aspects and have a positive trend. Kurti also mentioned the facilitation of border traffic, especially in Han i Elez.
He emphasized that both countries have bilateral cooperation in the diplomatic and economic aspects, while he welcomed the continuous support of North Macedonia and the efforts for integration in international organizations, especially in the Council of Europe and NATO.
